The Bridge of Peace by Cindy Woodsmall

This book was very interesting when you start to read it is hard to put it down.
Lena an Old order amish schoolteacher who loves her job is challenged by a rebellious boy and his family. Lena has a birthmark on her face and it has been a problem through out her life. Many times she has felt that people have done things for her because they have felt sorry for her. The school board believes that Lena is behind the trouble at school because of her lack of submission except for Grey.
Grey is having problems in his marriage and is trying to work them out for himself. It seems like he is on the right track when tragedy strikes.
Lena and Grey have been friends for years. Grey is her brothers best friend. They are neighbor but they have to go around their farms to get to each other. For years Grey has wanted to built a bridge can he and Lena also build a bridge in their lives.
