Plain Wisdom: An Invitation into an Amish Home and the Hearts of Two WomenThis book is the story of two women who live different lives Miriam Flaud an old order Amish women and Cindy Woodsmall an New York Times best seller author. These two women became friends when Linda who worked at a Amish birthing center and as an EMT among the Amish connected the two of them.
     Cindy visited Miriam's home and decovered how different they were yet they both had a strong belief in God. They both had rules and principles in their lives. They both had a real love for their family and enjoyed their family. They talk about their family and the many things that happen with their children and relatives. They enjoyed each others company and shared many things. This book tells of the life of the Amish and explains many things that they do. There are also Amish recipes in this book.
